📜 1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding, using, or interacting with the Asriel Discord Music Bot (Asriel), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must disconnect Asriel from your server and cease all interactions with the bot.

🛡️ 2. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Asriel only for lawful purposes and in accordance with Discord's Developer Terms. You must not:

  • Use the bot to spam commands, attempt to crash voice playback channels, or bypass search restrictions.
  • Automate commands using self-bots, client modifications, or external scripts.
  • Reverse engineer, exploit, or attempt to run malicious payloads through the bot's media resolvers.

🔊 3. Media Sources & Copyright

Asriel acts as a media resolver and streams audio dynamically on-the-fly from public third-party services including YouTube, Spotify, and SoundCloud.

  • Asriel does not host, store, or distribute any music files.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that the media you stream does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights.
  • If you are a copyright owner and wish to submit a DMCA or copyright claim, please submit it directly to the platform hosting the source content (e.g., YouTube).

4. Service Availability & Modification

Asriel is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the bot's features or overall service at any time without notice. We are not liable for changes in availability caused by external changes (e.g., YouTube algorithm updates or Discord API rate limits).

⚠️ 5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asriel's developers and hosting operators shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or server disruptions arising out of the use, inability to use, or behavior of the bot inside your Discord Guild.
